Short version: Siru is a free educational calculator. It is not financial advice. Use it to think about your future, not as a basis for actual investment decisions.
What Siru is
Siru is a web-based FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) calculator built for the Indian market. It produces projections based on the inputs you provide and standard assumptions (12% CAGR, 6% inflation, the 4% safe withdrawal rule). All math is open and visible.
What Siru is not
- Not financial advice. We are not SEBI-registered investment advisors. We do not know your full financial picture, tax situation, or goals.
- Not a guarantee. Projections are based on historical averages. Markets can underperform. Your actual outcome will differ.
- Not a substitute for a CFP / fee-only advisor for major financial decisions.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep the math correct and the assumptions current. If you spot an error, please email siruapp@proton.me — we'll fix it and credit you.
Liability
Siru is provided "as is", without warranty. We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on this calculator. Always do your own research and, for material decisions, consult a qualified professional.
Changes
These terms may change as Siru evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
