Privacy policy

Short version: your calculator inputs never leave your browser. The only thing we receive is your email, and only if you choose to submit it.

What Siru collects

• Calculator inputs — age, income, expenses, returns. These stay on your device. We have no servers running the calculation.
• Email address — only if you submit the waitlist form. We use it to email you once when Siru launches.
• Local browser storage — your last calculator inputs may be cached in localStorage so you don't lose them on reload.
• Anonymous usage analytics — we use PostHog to track aggregate, anonymous events: which calculator features get used, where users get stuck, how many people share their number. We never log your financial values themselves — just structural events (e.g. "input changed", not the input value). Email addresses, story content, and shareable URLs are masked in any session recordings.

How to opt out of analytics

If you'd rather not be measured: enable "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" in your browser — Siru respects both automatically. Alternatively, click the "Toggle analytics" link in the footer to disable tracking from this device.

What Siru does not collect

• No accounts, no passwords, no login
• No third-party advertising trackers
• No financial account access — we never see your real portfolio
• No personally identifiable analytics data — no names, no IPs sold or shared

How your email is used

Submissions go to Formspree, a form-handling service. Formspree stores your email and forwards it to our inbox. We use it for:

• One launch notification when the Siru app is live
• Occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We will never sell or share your email with third parties.

Shared links

The "Copy link" feature on the calculator generates a URL containing your inputs. You are sharing those numbers with whoever you send the link to. Don't share if you'd rather keep them private.

Your rights

To delete your email from our list at any time, reply to any email from us, or write to siruapp@proton.me. We will remove your record within 7 days.
